When you think of where you are in life, where would you place yourself today?

Survival?

Success?

Significance?

We all know what it’s like to be in survival mode – just get through the day, right?  Just make the next house payment.

What about once you get out of that space?  Where are you then?  What’s the difference between being successful and being significant?

Join me with my next guest, Scott Schilling, who has an amazing story that has helped him put all of his success into significantly impacting others, helping them succeed and become significant themselves!

Scott Schilling is a speaker, trainer and business coach extraordinaire.  He is an author of 10 books, covering topics such as sales, marketing and training.

Season 1, Episode 35: Becoming Your Best Healthy Self with Guest Mary Ellen Dorey

You know one of the things I am always curious about is self care.  I think as women, especially, we end up putting everyone else before us.  But really, if we are not healthy, no one else around us is either.  So, let’s take a step back, and give ourselves permission to look not just for traditional but also non-traditional ways of taking care of ourselves.

If that sounds good, you will love my next guest, as we learn about reflexology!

Mary Ellen Dorey is the founder of Dorey Aromatherapy.  Mary Ellen has an interesting background, starting out as a graduate of  Buffalo State College and The Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC.  She gained extensive experience in retail and consumer lab testing, technical design, and quality control.  These experiences now to help her with her current business.  Mary Ellen became registered by the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) and founded Dorey AromaTherapy in 2009.  Mary Ellen incorporates her unique aromatherapy formulations into her practice of European and Ayurvedic styles of reflexology from her Plano, Texas.

Season 1, Episode 34: Weight Loss and Leading a Healthy and Fit Lifestyle

This is the first in the multi-part series on High Impact Living

Did you know that 30% of Americans are considered obese?  Another 30% are considered overweight.   Which means that for every 10 Americans, only four fall into the category of “healthy weight” or below.   The United States is now the “winner” of having the highest rate of obesity among children and adults.

Yet, there is more access in the U.S. to healthy food, daily exercise, vitamins, minerals, herbs, surgeries, and all sorts of opportunities to be fit and healthy than any other country in the world.

Clearly, things have gotten out of control.  In this next installment of High Impact Living, Dr Edward Lewellen discusses how to regain control of your life, and addressing the underlying reasons for carrying extra weight.  He will show you what you can do internally to shape your world externally.

In this episode, we are specifically discussing weight loss and a healthy, fit lifestyle with Dr Edward Lewellen!

Dr. Lewellen holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity, Certified Master Executive Coach, Master NLP Practitioner, Master Life Coach and has an MBA in Management. Dr. Lewellen has consulted with businesses, universities, and Chambers of Commerce. He has been invited to speak to psychology and international departments of universities.
